Terms & Conditions
As of 2.18.24
Rates & Payments:
Tattoos will be priced at $200/hour plus tax. Rates are subject to increase over the course of time for any long-term, multi-session projects.
All estimates are best guesses based on past projects, but they do not constitute a legally binding fixed price. The end price may be less or more than estimated, based on client skin quality, pain tolerance, design changes, etc.
Minimum charge is $150.
Payment can be made by cash or credit card.
Designs:
All designs are presented on the day of your appointment.
All custom designs are tattooed once, unless otherwise stated.
Note that I will not copy images of other tattoos as a direct reference image unless it is fan art or a specific brand/company logo. Artwork will be recreated using references as inspiration.
I reserve the right to use my designs however I'd like to, even after they’ve been tattooed.
I reserve the right to use photos of my tattoos and/or designs however I'd like to.
At artists’ discretion, pre-drawn designs claimed at shop.inkbyerin.com can have slight alterations made if necessary, if it suits better composition or placement.
Any major design altering changes or placement changes for custom pieces post initial deposit and consultation must be submitted before our appointment, and are subject to artist approval. Complete concept change is generally deemed as a cancellation of the agreed upon project, requiring a new deposit.
Deposits:
If your project is chosen, I require a non-refundable deposit that must be paid upon scheduling, no exceptions. Your deposit price will vary depending on your project.
The deposit goes towards your total tattoo cost. (Example: The tattoo totals $600, you will owe $500 at the end of the session, plus tax.)
If your tattoo requires multiple sessions, it will be taken off the total of our last session.
Deposits are not a payment for a tattoo design/sketch.
Deposits will not be carried over to potential future projects if you chose to cancel or change your mind.
Deposits are considered forfeit in the case of cancellation of defined project, less than 48 hours notice to reschedule, no-show, or 30 min. late without prior notice.
Transferrable one-time only, within 4 months of original appointment. I will allow a 12 month grace period from the original appointment date to reschedule in the case of pregnancy.
Deposits for multi-session projects will be held for no longer than one year from date of last appointment. Without prior approval or communication within the one-year time frame, any deposit on the books will be forfeit.
Deposit is applicable to agreed upon design and placement only, and cannot be transferred to another person.
Appointment Protocols:
Please arrive no earlier than 10 minutes prior to your appointment.
If you need to change the date of your appointment due to unforeseen circumstances, you must give notice 48 hours ahead of time so we can rearrange our schedules. A new deposit will be required to continue working together if you reschedule with less than 48 hours notice. You can reschedule your appointment only once without losing your deposit.
If you are running late, please text me at 937-387-7109. Late appointments will be cancelled if you have not shown within 30 minutes.
I cannot tattoo you without a valid government or state issued ID. Your appointment will be rescheduled and your deposit will be forfeited if a valid ID is not present at time of your appointment.
I cannot tattoo you if the area to be tattooed is sunburnt or covered in another skin condition or disorder such as abrasions, acne, eczema, psoriasis, previous shingles outbreak, etc. If you show up to your appointment with any skin conditions that affect the ability of your skin to be tattooed, your appointment will be rescheduled and your deposit will be forfeited.
You will not be tattooed if you are under the influence of any drugs or alcohol. Your appointment will be rescheduled and your deposit will be forfeited.
I must be contacted within 8 weeks of last appointment date for any follow-up work post healing. Otherwise, any additional work is subject to my current hourly rate. Finger tattoos are always subject to the current hourly rate for any additional work. Obvious aftercare negligence may also be subject to hourly rates.
